If you are planning on taking holidays Greece, you will surely be very excited; but make sure you don’t let the excitement take over you completely – you still need to pack and you need to make sure you remember a few things!  Some of the essential items for holidays in Greece include:

1. Your travel documents – this includes printouts of your flights, your passport and anything else you may need such as a visa (if you aren’t an EU national) and hotel reservations.  If you forget any of these your holidays Greece may not go ahead at all!
2. Medications – if you take any regular medications, make sure you don’t forget to pack them.  You will also want to make sure that you leave them in the bottle or packet they were prescribed in unless you want to risk them being confiscated at the airport.
3. Toiletries – Although most items will be available in Greece, you may want to take few travel sized toiletries along with you.  Make sure that if you take any liquids or toiletries on the plane as hand luggage that you place them in a clear bag and that they are under the airline limit.
4. Sun cream – Greece is hot almost all year round, so make sure you don’t forget to protect yourself from the sun.
5. Money/Travellers Cheques – It is advisable to take a combination and to keep them in different places so that even in the case of theft you will be covered.
6. A camera – You are going to want to take dozens of photos on your holidays in Greece so don’t forget to bring your camera!
